After thinking for a long time that Susie was wonderful, I learned the hard way that she is far from it. I found out that she was packing 8 or more dogs into her truck (that continuously broke down) and had no control over the dogs when she took them out. She had assured me that she would never have more than 5 dogs at a time.

Our agreement for over a year was that she would drive the dogs to Fiesta Island daily. A while ago, she began to complain about the price of gas and the costs associated with her truck repairs and asked for more money ……
When I said that I could not provide her with more money, she stopped taking the dogs to Fiesta Island and began to walk them around the neighborhood. She tried to walk my two 80lb dogs and two 30lb dogs at the same time on leashes and insisted that they were poorly leash trained when they could not all fit on the pavement side by side.

She and I had agreed upon a price to take care of my dogs when I went on vacation. Just days before the trip she DOUBLED the rate and wrote a painfully long and offensive text message about why "she was worth it and how this was her job and she did not do it because she loves dogs". She asked for $95 a day to watch the dogs ……

After securing the services of another walker, I asked for her mailing address to mail her the balance of that I owed her and I asked that in return she send back my house key. She refused to send the key and said that she wanted her money first! What were her intentions? To break into the house and take the money if I did not mail it? One has to wonder……

After I informed her that I would no longer be using her services... She "warned" several other local dog walkers that I was looking for a replacement and made up horrible lies about both me and my dogs. Because I knew most of the walkers on a personal level, they called me, and told me. They were appalled that she would stoop that low. What sort of person does that?

That was all a few months ago and still, to this very day, she continues to talk about me - to my current walker… It’s very sad a testament to how truly unprofessional she really is.
