Scams Unemployed

FLT made 5 unapproved deductions from my unemployment benefits card between 10 and 2. The amounts were all $32.97 with a handling fee of $0.99. The billing cycle is a standard 30 day cycle, regular as clock work down to nearly the hour of deduction. I have, at no time, knowingly used my UI card for ANY online transactions, and have never entered the account number in an online venue. The contact information consists solely of the phone number 866-459-9072, which does not appear to be a working number.

If this has happened to you, to get your money back, the best bet is to contact your bank, cancel the debit or credit card that was tagged by FLT, submit a verbal complaint to the bank, at which point they will issue and affidavit. Send a letter detailing the occurrence, the affidavit from your bank, a detailed listing of the contentious transactions, and a copy of a report of the occurrence to your local police dept., sheriff, what have you, all to the Bankcard Services Dispute center of your bank. They'll review the info, and, if appropriate, you'll have your money back.in 90 days or so.

You can try a BBB complaint, but there's not enough info available about this "corporation" to get anywhere with that process.
