Sentre Management
National Management, Dan Chasin, Dan Long, Rolina Ferares, Sara Karl, Sara Carl Job Scam— Fake Perfume— Promised to Train as Manage

Miscellaneous

I've been unemployed for nearly six months, after being able to keep a job for only two months, so I am at this time desperate for a job, and I believe that's how they managed to get me as far as they have.

If you look up "Dan Chasin" or "National Management" it describes my experiences with these con artists to a T - the two hour "second interview" with a large group of people, mostly other young women, the ridiculously speedy "first interview" where Mr Chasin went as far as filling words in for me. The whole schpiel about getting the keys to your own office, how "basic training" would be learning to sell like your sales people, and he would let us come up with our own reasoning as to why we wouldn't be paid unless we sold these perfume bottles, posing it in the form of a question and then agreeing to whatever the people who spoke up said. He seemed annoyed by my questions, saying that he wanted us to save them until the end of the "interview" and then saying that we could ask those questions in private when he told us whether he wanted to give us the job or not. Of course everyone there got a job, which he explained away by saying that they're trying to expand into Ohio and promising people offices all over the Columbus area.

According to him, we'd be starting Monday morning at 10:30 am, and going until 12:30 for "orientation". Tuesday would follow the same schedule, and then Wednesday our "real" schedule would begin. He tried to rush us through the process and seemed annoyed when I asked if we would be getting paid for Monday and Tuesday. He said we would not, but he was going to come up with ways for us to make money on those two days. I imagine it would mean sending us home with bottles of perfume to push on our friends and family like other people in Arizona and other states have reported.

He kept on pushing that he started 8 years ago after being unemployed for six months and how he knew what we were going through. I think there were so many people who wanted jobs so badly that we all just bought it out of wishful thinking. There were the promises of "forced vacations" for managers with at all inclusive resorts. When Dan Chasin and this lady Sara started pulling people out of the room, another lady, Rolina, came in right away and started chatting at us about food and regular every day minutiae. We all thought she was doing it to be friendly but now it's clear that they want to avoid anyone putting two and two together in front of other people or their "trainees" chatting and comparing notes in general.

They told us that we'd have to have background checks done, but that there were no fees. After we were all "invited to come back" we were handed papers to fill out, asking for our personal information— SSN, driver's license, year, make, model and plate number of our car, etc. I've filled out background check forms for real companies before, mostly temp agencies, and it looked legitimate. Something was watching out for me, because I was waiting for my ride and filled out the paper, meaning to hand it right there, until I realized I need an address for a personal reference and decided to hang on to it and hand it in on Monday instead. Needless to say that is not going to happen now, and I'm grateful I dodged that bullet!

I came home and looked up "Sentre Management" and was unable to find anything in Az, the only thing that came up was the webpage which ONLY mentioned Ohio. This seemed odd because Mr Chasin mentioned several times that the company was 20 years old and based out of Az. It wasn't until I looked up "Dan Chasin" on a whim that I found the reports on usacomplaints.com. It didn't strike me until after I found all the reports that the background check document they wanted me to fill out said "National Background Check" across the top in big letters.

Anyone looking to work for Sentre Management, watch out! I really do hope more people do their research and decide to look up Mr Chasin himself!
