I have listed my startup business on several websites for the purpose of seeking an angel investment to build our business. This guy contact me via an intro email posted below, to express his interest in investing. After several communications that seem like normal due dilience, he sends a term sheet with favorable terms. Finally, he requests that I pay some of his due diligence costs up front. This is not normal. Typically these fees are negotiated at the closing of the deal.

I never paid the fee, but suspect that several have, if not many. This guy should be exposed if not in prison. Great website for helping to educate the public and prevent criminals like this from wasting our time and stealing our money.

He'll typically say things like "god bless you" in his emails, and emphasize the importance of "trusting" your partners in life and in business.
