Mild food poisining - threw up everything about 2 hours later followed by infection

I had lunch with a friend at this restaurant on 11 Feb. I had a daily special: "muscles in tomato sauce". My lunch companion had another daily special: "chicken breast with veggies"I began feeling nausea after about 45 min and got increasingly worse. It turned out to be food poisining of sorts: I threw up everything about 2 hours later followed by an internal infection with symptoms of fainting and low blood pressure, cold spells, etc.; I went to a pharmacy for over the counter type of drugs and got better by sleeping time or at least felt better by the time I woke up.
