Terrible return/customer service - Motorola SB6120 Cable Modem

I bought a Motorola SB6120 Cable Modem which turned out to be broken. Both my internet provider and Motorola customer service confirmed that the modem was broken. I shipped the modem back and contacted the sales team. However, it took them a long time tog et back to me, at which point they only said that the original packaging was not returned. SInce this is not a common practice, I hadn't thought about it. When I asked them how I could fix this problem to move things faster, I did not hear from them for 11 days. Then I called the customer service, when miraculously I was told that the product was shipped that very day. I should note that the customer service rep, He started to yell at me about the packaging instead of listening to my complaint. I have suffered financially from the lack of a secure internet line, and I don't think I will trust this company again.
