I am so saddened to find out that these prayer letters are a scam. I started receiving them about a year and a half ago at a time when I was really questioning alot of things in life. I had prayed so many times for God to send me a sign of some sort. One day after a rather stressfull week I received one of these letters. Of course I took it as a sign from God. The letters keep coming and always when I seem at a low point. They always seem to be discribing exactly what's going on and what I need in my life at the time I have answered many of these letters I've only sent money on a few occasions. I feel so cheated by these people. I'm not jaded though, for I still have Jesus as my saviour.
