Ripoff, fraud, dishonest, scam. Orange County

I went online to, which if i remember correctly was called consumerinfo. I saw that there were free credit reports for anyone. Well that turned out to be untrue. They advertised that it was free, but it wasn't. Next thing I know, a month down the line and out of nowhere, i check my bank statement online and $79.95 is taken out of my account by a place called cic credit monitor.

Now first of all, i had never heard of that company. So i went online and typed that name into a google search. Hundreds of scam reports pulled up and that's how i found this site. So since many people had filed reports, i thought i would automatically get my money back, boy was i wrong. This was over 2 months ago, and still no money.
This is an outrage and i hope that more people come forward and say that's enough. We live in a country that has enough organization to stop things like this from happening, we live in a country where we should be able to feel secure with our money in the bank.

Unfortunately that's not reality. And according to my bank and visa, all i can do is wait (my bank told me it might be months) and continue to be in fear that money will be taken out at the time i need it most. Like rent time. Im only 19 and dont make that much money anyways, i struggle as it is. Hopefully someone will read this and find a way to make everything right. Until then i live in fear that this company will turn me homeless. Thank you for your time
