Card Charged & No Gas Pumped

On November 3 I used my Visa card to pay at the pump and began to fill up and soon realized that there was no pressure and no gas being dispensed/pumped into my tank. I was charged $4.10... Not tons of money, but money is money and this is fishy. I immediately went inside and told the woman behind the counter of the issue and she said if nothing actually pumped then my card would not be charged. This WAS NOT the case. My bank account reflects the $4.10 charge and I am not sure what to do to rectify the matter. I tried calling the gas station itself and was unable to communicate with the employee due to a language barrier. I cannot find a location on Chevron's website where I can contact them to address the matter and file a complaint. I have wondered a few times in the past if Chevron rigs their pumps so that the amount of gas is actually less than what you have paid for - especially if you've paid cash inside, as the last $2 or so often don't appear to pump the full amount of gasoline. I will not return to a Chevron and I most definitely want my $4.10 returned to my account immediately. This is unacceptable. Thank you for your time, B. Poole
