Horrible customer service

My company had jab mechanical install an hvac system which cost over $7,000 approximately two years ago. We attempted to contact the owner, mr jeff barber, over a three week period which included leaving messages with his secretary. I finally reached him, as he answered the phone early monday morning on october 25. When i explained my concerns that he failed to return my calls, he said it was due to the fact that, due to my stores hours of operation, it was difficult to get work done. I was fine with that as he agreed to work things out as we were willing to accomodate hours that he would require to perform the work. However, when i brought up the fact that he did not return my calls, he became very aggressive and rude, stating that was in the past and he was not discussing it. He was so rude, i believe, in an attempt to get me to not use him to do the work, which he did accomplish. However, he was more than willing to do the initial work as there was a large amount of money involved. Furthermore, jab mechanical was referred to me by a large company several years ago and i am not sure if they still engage his services, which i was told from someone in the company that referred him to me. The latter statement i am awaiting contact from the company that referred him to confirm or dispel this information. The vice president of finance stated that he belives jab mechanical is no longer used by the company he worked for due to service issues. Once again i need to confirm the latter statement which i will find out. The bottom line, beware of the horrible customer service that comes with jab mechanical. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am in the customer service business and i treat my clients, no matter how larhe or small they are, like gold. Mr jeffrey barber treated me like garbage, something i have never experienced before.
