It is a rare thing for the worlds 8th biggest economy, California, that is nearly bankrupt has a primary provider of power, the Southern California Edison electric company that has resorted towards a new WorldCom type of racketeering.

Because of tough economic times it is going door to door and pulling the power on any house that refuses to pay a deposit. A deposit? A deposit for what? We've been paying for 20 years here. Why do you all of a sudden need a deposit? And why are you going door to door with your truck and pulling their plug?

This practice is from the one and same Southern California Edison that introduced the "Rolling Blackouts" several years ago. That was a scheme to get customers to pay higher rates because it claimed it did not have enough power to go around. So it was unpluggign some zones and demanding more power from others.

This is the newest Racket in California. It has MOB written all over it. Extortion.

Unjustified generation of a fee not due to them.

Southern California Edison is a corrupt company with a long history of scams and extortion.

It is very sad that our politicians allow this company to operate when it is harassing and extorting is customers to squeeze them for more money.

They say that they hold the deposit in an account until you dont need electricity anymore. Got that? They hold it for you until you dont need electricity any more. Good one. Huh?

That and Medical Marijuana and the Early Release of prisoners from California jails because it doesnt have the money. They all make Al Capone look like Pope John Paul.

Southern California Edisons "Rolling Black outs" have been featured in hundreds of publications.
