Gebls World Shop
Business Fraud

Miscellaneous

Dear Sir/Ma, Kindly listen to this story: In May, a company in Slovakia [Gebls World Shop] pasted a translation advertisement on the internet. I applied for the job. On June 8, the company sent the following materials to me: A 200-page file for translation into Yoruba, a questionnaire to be filled as part of application for the post of manager, and a purchase order for payment for the translation. Because of my belief in dedication and devotion to duty, I suspended ALL other jobs, recruited 4 other people with me so that I can do the job and meet the deadline.

The work took us over 3 weeks to complete. I sent the translated text, the original English text as well as the purchase order and questionnaire on July 2. The original agreement was that I would be paid within 2 weeks from the date of delivery [July 2]. Since July 2 that I submitted the job till now, I have not been paid. Various excuses had been given for not paying me. Some of the excuses are: Most of their staff were on leave. They were pasting the translations. They sold the company. The submitted files were deleted. Not only that, they kept on changing their contact e-mail addresses. Some of the e-mail addresses that they have used are: 1. Translations@gebls.com 2. Manager@gebls.com 3. Generalmanager@gebls.com 4. Office@gebls.com 5. World. Office@gebls.com 6. GWS@gebls.com 7. Office. Manager@gebls.com 8. Support Center 1 and 2 The amount that the company [Gebls World Shop] owe me is: 2045.56 Euros for translating 32428 words.in the last purchase order that they requested me to send, they gave me the option that if I wanted to defer my payment by 60 days, they would give me 250 Euros bonus. Yet, I chose the option not to defer. Despite this, they have not paid me. I am ready to supply any additional information that you may require for this matter. Yours expectantly, S J Agboola Note: I had forwarded this case to the Slovak Embassy here in Nigeria as well as the Foreign Office in Slovakia. My messages were neither replied nor acknowledged. So, bear in mind that there is a possibility of cover-up.
