Deceptive Selling Praqtices and no written contract

Newberry's coffee has had offers on the internet, Craigslist and other Franchise locations advertising to sell franchises or distributorships, with a right to a specified area. Everything is handled verbally, the company has so far refused to put anything in writing. That should indicate something about the company. I have been told that companies offering franchises must offer some documentation in at least some states. That person had some knowledge of what he was talking about and had no reason to lie.in my case, Newberry's sold the same area twice, and then I found out that the machines do not include coin acceptors. Newberry's recommended professional locater was unable to locate the machines. I filed a BBB complaint against the company, they responded with lies. Their BBB rating has been adjusted.

Newberry's "forgot to inform me not only that coin acceptors were not included with the machines ($300 plus each), but also that I had to pay shipping. I guess the latter is minor, but the former is major.incidentally, I have found through internet research where to buy both the machines and coin acceptors for about 50 percent or less than what Newberry is charging. I have directed some people to that company.

These are not BTW, NesCafe coffee machines as Newberry's advertises. The machines are made in Italy and purchased from a source in the United States. Newberrys apparently puts the glossy "NesCafe" image on the machine before re-shipping them.

I have pursued other avenues to get justice in this matter. I am determined not to quit until such is obtained.
