Cash.net internet scam! Beware!

Beware! I have gotten several calls from foreign individuals claiming to be reps of Crime Center of America. The calls come up on caller ID as odd 6 or 7 digit numbers. The return number to call for me was 209-623-4683. They claim to be representing an online company Cash.net and that this company deposited $523 into my bank account. The scarey part is, they even had the last 4 digits of my account as well as my cell phone number and employer number. I have been relentlessly called evenwhen told all cals must cease and threatened legal action.

The purpose fo their call is to get you to believe that you were given money that you never received or paid back, then get you to pay $998 over the phone to relieve your "debt". The last voicemail I got even went so far as to tell me that if I do not return their call, two "investigators" will show up at my house and I will then be "dragged to the courthouse". They claim that their "creditor" (Cash.net) can prove they gave you the money (funny, I know). Apparently these people are not familiar with the United States justice system and just do not realize that KIDNAPPING is not a legal option for any REAL creditors to collect monies owed to them!
