Melissa Regan My horse was supposed to be "totally broke" and we can't even lounge him

I have a horse that I got from Chris, whom he claimed to be a charity case (as he says that most of his horses are-he just finds homes for horses nobody else will take). My horse has an obvious physical defect, yet he is sound to ride. He was supposed to be fully broke-but he almost hurt a rider when he left the indoor arena - where he was temporarily sheltered to make him look better after being left in a pasture for months. The outburst this horse had supposedly lost Chris and his partner a deal on another horse, because a family was there to look at a horse for a child-and they didn't think horses in the barn were safe after witnessing the antics of this one. Chris lost the sale because of the way this horse acted up (like we planned on it). Our horse was said to be totally broke-but once he get fed properly that all changed.
I have read the reports against Chris and Melissa, and I can HONESTLY say that the disclaimers written by people who said they purchased a horse from them and bought a wonderful horse were written by friends of Melissa and Chris. Although there is a lot of truth to what is said about the requirements of a horse buyer, there is still truth to knowing what you are buying! There should be no such thing as "buyer beware", but when dealing with animals there are variables. However, when you are told an animal is "sound", "bombproof", "not lame", "childproof", "healthy-vet-checked", and otherwise... You are are supposed to believe what you are told/seen. This is where a verbal agreement is made-and can be used in court-something Mr. White and Ms. Regan fear. These two try to say that disgruntled former associates are working against them. Pay back is not what is happening, the truth coming out, however; is it worth taking a chance with your money and your family's health and happiness??
