Breakfast charges

Came down to main lobby at appox 8AM. Got a coffee andsat at a table. Party consisted of myself, daughter and grand-son. Got the child a box of fruit loops, a dish, no milk and some apple juice. I made a waffle for myself (self-service) and my daughteralso made herself a waffle. The waitress poured my daughter acup of coffee. We thought that the breakfast was complementary. Yes, we seen people paying, but we thought that was if you ordered a breakfast of eggs, ham, hash browns, etc.

When we finished eating, we were leaving and the waitress cameafter us asking if we had coupons. Then she informed us that breakfast was not complementary and asked us what we had. We told her 2 waffles (one each0 2 cups of coffee and some fruit loops and apple juice for the child. She made up a bill for$25.51. She informed me that that a waffle is a hot breakfast. We paid the bill.

I will never use this hotel chain again and I will make sure I tellevery one traveling to steer clear of the Hilton Garden Inn.
