Miscellaneous

Us driverstops at a gas station announces Ellizathbethtown, Ky., you may have a smoke break here. 3 elderly get off the bus go into station all are in line to pay for a drink as our bus drivrs off leaving us behind. One was a disable female, bad heart and back on 9 med. 2 were controlled sub., keys to her van, house, cell phone, money, all her personal belongings in a small luggage in seat next to her where she was seated. That female was me. I was so up set, afraid, at a loss as to where I was what I was going to be able to do with nothing. I walked down a ramp onto the highway 65 n.in hopes of getting a ride to Louis. Ky. Greythound ternimal, get my luggage, 9perscriptions in a Wal-mart plastic bag tied to my luggage. It was 5P.M. About 99 temp. A 18 wheeler almost blew me to my knees. I was crying, hot tired, lost, on foot a very busy hwy. Dizzy, short of breath walking back to where Id left. To tired I stopped in at Confort Inn, I ask the man behind service contour would he please make a call for me. If not for him I just dont know what Id done. After a freind drives over 2 hours to pick me up we go to the bus station in louis. Ky. Its closed. I have no medication, clothing, no keys to my van or house and must ride 2 more hours west of the bus station to a friends house. From this point on it gets only worse by far than all thats already happened. Not to mention that I had boughten a round trip ticket and was returning 06-29 ticket in my bra. All Ive gotten so far was a letter of regret for my unpleasant experience. I could see accidently maybe leaving a passagener behind not 3. And as for my losses, after math and still havent been able to get keys made for my van and house, sever withdrawls due to not being allowed to replace 2 controlled meds. Its a law, I thought I was gonna die and still having to provide proff this happened. My son was also almost arrestted at Louis. Ky. Station asking question trying to find out where his sick mother was then police tried helping once they understood a bus driver left 3 of us behind. Greyhound says in my letter their committed to providing quality customer services and a opportunity in the near future to prove how reliable and economical transportation to meet my needs. I reported, called over 100 times in a month, filled out complaint forms, been given conformations numbers, plus made it known to your web sites. Not 1 human voice yet no mention of reinburscement. I hope to hear from a consumer attorney News watch 8 on our side. It should be mandatory that the driver must at least do a count every time passageners are allowed a break. Safetie of a human being should always come FIRST. Greyhound has failed as a victum myself I was shocked at the numbers of times this happens DAILY yes DAILY. I expect a check payable to me and a letter where it is MANDATORY HEAD COUNT. Must a human being DIE first? Ref: 1632129 04421633
