Won't warranty a 3 month old I-pod

My I Pod stopped working and they won't fix it. It is in great condition and they said I did something to it. BS! I contacted the owner and he didn't even e-mail me back. We have bought 6 touch i-pods and all have worked fine for my whole family, but this one. And it is in great shape too, except won't come on. We sent it back to Apple, but they sent it back saying they couldn't fix it, because of us. Come On! We didn't abuse the damn thing.
