Mary Watson, Michael Mile, Surplus Computer Phony Job offer, just a pass-through for funds!

This person posted a job, then tested my accounting/internet abilities and knowledge, then wrote a fraudulent check for me to take funds immediately out to wire via Western Union ONLY. I offered other ways of doing it, but he said this was the only way his contact could accept payment. He had me research the products we would purchase and then he chose this particular person to send the funds to. He said this person was the only one who could configure the computer for them.

I told him my bank could directly wire the money. I was onto him mostly from the start, but he always had an excuse for my red flags. Now I couldn't take the last steps after he demanded I immediately remove the funds and wire the money!!! I just couldn't do it.

Thank goodness all I lost was time, and gained some humility! I also filed a police report in my community.
