All I want is my money back

I bought a money order to pay one of my bills. Out of all of them that i have bought all of them but 1 has made it to were it was suppost to go. All I want is money back for the money order that was lost, but they wont do that unless I pay them more money. Everybody now is on a fixed income and can barely afford to pay their bills as is, so why charge people more money for something that is out of their control? All I want to do is keep a roof over my families heads and food in our stomachs, but businesses make that so hard none of them care about their customers all they care about is making their money so they can get their raises...
