This is a bogus company offering the same $125,000 after payment of "government taxes", letter mailed from Canada, check for $3980 from legit company—but web site says fraud, no money in account

Repeat of "Tampa Green Consultants" scam promising $125,000 upon payment of "government taxes" to "tax agent". Tampa Green Consultants and address are bogus.

Letter wording seems bogus—call claim agent at 416-890-5706.

Check included for $3980 from ACCO Brands seems legit—it is a real company doing real business. But their web site has fraud alert that the check is a fake, there is no money in the account number on the check—the check will bounce.

ACCO thinks the scammers are in the UK. (The letter was mailed from Canada.) ACCO gives examples of many other scams in addition to "Tampa Green Consultants" that use ACCO for cover.
