I went over to AAMCO in Hackensack to get a quote about the condictions of my car. I informed him (Nick) that I had an engine light on and if he could provide with a quote. At first, he said that he needed the vehicle to be placed in a machine and to have this checked out and this turned out to be $685.00 then he started talking about getting into the transmission and when the preliminary work and this amounted to about $1880.00. I found that this was suitable given the make and model of the vehicle that the fact that this vehicle has been with my family for awhile then he (Nick) called me the following morning and started tacking on other issues with the transmissions that was not discussed in the initial price quote. Now, my total is $3,171.00 and I have no idea on to to start making payments on this. Furthermore, I am currently using a car rental and is it $25.00 a day and I have it already for 2 days. I need help on this matter.
