Silier Milton Group (Brett Siler)
This company is a scam! You put spend more money working for the company then you get paid!

Miscellaneous

This company is a huge pyramid scam. I had recenly just finished up college and decided to put my resume out on Monster and career builder. Within a day I received a phone call from a Maria Tarnavsky letting me know the company had a position open for "entry level sales." I began to ask questions about the job, but she would not give me any information. She told me I had to come in for a interview. When I showed up for the interview "Brett Siler" the boss interviewed me and about half of the interview consists of flirting. He told me I would do very well in the company and that I could be promoted to a manager in one year. He invited me back for a ride along with one of his best emplyees (Anna Rich) so I could see what a day consists of and then I would have my second interview. I should have seen red flags when she could barely get a sale the whole day.

At lunch Anna went over the company and how the pay scale worked. Entry Level employees start off making three to five hundred dollars for the first couple weeks. After that you become a leader and make between five to seven hundred dollars a week. Then you get promoted to Assistant manager where you make a base pay of 1500 dollars and 50 percent commision and then after so many sales and weeks you get promoted to a manager where you make six figures plus commission on anything you sell.

She never once told me that this was commission based the whole time. Everything was a lie. I got promoted to being a leader after 2 weeks which means I should be making at least five to seven hundred. I think I only made five hundres dollars once. The rest of the time I was lucky to make three hundred in a week. They do all these events for you to attend in order to brain wash you. I had no life when I worked for this place. Everyone was so nice and always invited you to go out every night. There were two or three different teams in the office. They would have team night every Monday which meant you HAD to go. It always consists of going to the bar and drinking and talking a tiny bit about work. Thursday nights were the office party nights where the whole office would meet at a bar to drink and eat dinner. Of course everyone would then get together on the weekends as well. They made you feel like you had to go to the two events every Monday and Thursday. They would also plan road trips.

I went on three road trips with the company. The first one should have been another red flag considering there were seven girls in one tiny "whole in the wall" hotel room. Two of the girls had to sleep on the floor.

There are so many stories about this company I could tell you. This company is a joke! After two months I quit. My parents continuously asked me to quit because it was taking over my life. And on top of that I wasn't making that much money. I would pretty much break even. I never got compinsated for gas, food, or any road trips. After I quit I tried to claim my gas and food on my taxes and I wasn't even able to do that.

Please do not apply for this job. I learned the hard way and stayed two months!!
