Texting Scam

My daughter (10 years old) just signed up to receive text alerts (and a joke service) from the company named standardrateplan.com. It sells jokes to consumers and seems to be a hot spot for young kids.
Even though they have a disclaimer that you have to be 18, or have the permission of your parents, your cell phone bill gets charged automatically once you put in your cell phone number (don't know yet if my 10-year old even knows she signed up for this or that it costs money).
Talked to a representative and they cancelled the service (only had it for about 2 hours), but they would have to send a refund check - they can't just take it off your cell phone bill.
