I've had the same bad experience

I have also worked for this company and been ripped off. I was reeled in by a Spa gift certificate Jason "gifted" me. He gets what is essentially a coupon book centered on one business for very cheap if not free off the internet, and then has a "marketing team" sell them door to door to people daily. The business does honor these coupons, but it's actually the door to door salesperson getting ripped off.
You work 12 hour days, with a "pumped up" session of marketing "techniques" every morning, then pile into a car and pester businesses to buy these coupons. After lunch, the sales team goes into subdivisions and sells door to door. If the coupon book goes for $25, the sales person gets maybe $10-$15 of that money, and Jason, who sat behind a desk all day doing nothing, gets the rest. He does that for all 10 or so employees who went out selling, and I'd imagine he makes pretty good money.
He moves every couple years to a new area, once people get sick of having their doors knocked on. And what another user commented here about him hitting on girls all day is very true, I personally know of girls I worked with that he slept with and some that quit because they were grossed out by him hitting on them all the time.
It seems like a cool thing when you go into the office and there's a big screen tv, and foosball table, and RedBull machine. But it's not cool anymore when you want to leave and Jason doesn't ever send you your "security money" that he held onto. I lost about $100 that way.
As for the road trips, about 8 people go, and share two hotel rooms so you don't end up spending more than you make. Jason will tell you that you can write off business expenses but it's illegal to do so.
Overall, you're better off avoiding this guy. Last I heard, he's moved into Cleveland.
