Horrible Customer Service - CFNA/Firestone Credit

Just about all credit card companies are horrible to deal with, but CFNA takes the cake. I went to my local Firestone to get new tires planning to pay cash. The local manager gave me some sob story about needing to make quota for new credit lines and reeled me in with the 90 days sames as cash song and dance. I applied and got the credit card. I paid it off with no problems. I go again a few months later to get them rotated. The total bill was $42 and he just put it on my account. It would have been due 10/15, so I filed it away. Fast-forward to this week and I get a credit alert from a reporting service that I have delinquent account, after years of working toward perfect standings on all accounts. It was CFNA! I had received no statements, no letters, no phone calls about a problem with the account. I immediately logged in and paid the now $74 balance just to clear it up. Upon further investigation, they now required a minimum payment of $10 on the 90 day promotion. I had no idea. No communication from them at all that there was a balance due sooner than 10/15.

As of today, my credit score has dropped 60 points now making it impossible for me to refinance my home. When I called CFNA for some shred of common sense about the situation they refused to help me over what amounted to $20 of minimum payments! I am disputing the report through the major credit bureaus, but this is just completely unacceptable. I guess I'll take this estimate from Firestone for my next major service to their biggest competitor. That's what they get for using a company like CFNA. Meanwhile I am left to deal with the aftermath of their refusing to treat people like human beings and help a good paying customer.
