South Of The River Music Scam! Music at your Doorstep is a scam. They rip off ALL of their employees and ALL of their consumers

Music At Your Doorstep is a complete waste of time and money. I worked for the company for 3 weeks. They hire all of their employees on a 1099 contract, and have fine print in other contracts that allows them to get away with not paying their employees any money. It is Illegal what they are doing because it rips off the state and federal government of their taxes because of the 1099 contract, which means they don't have to pay taxes on their employees.

In the 3 weeks I worked there, the people receiving music lessons all complained. They had a different music teacher every week because Music At Your Doorstep keeps hiring new teachers because everybody quits once they realize that they are only getting paid a couple of dollars an hour. There is also no way to cancel your lessons. You will keep getting charged. While I worked there, I spoke to several people who complained about this.

If you are planning on working for Music At Your Doorstep, know that you will only be paid a couple of dollars per hour. I worked there for 3 weeks and didn't get paid at all. Another girl that worked there full time for over a month was only paid $190.

Music At Your Doorstep used to be called South Of The River Music. South of the River Music had to change their name because they got a bad reputation for doing bad business. Check South Of The River Music out on the Better Business Bureau website. They were graded an F because of all of the consumer complaints they had.

I could go on and on. Please, do not do any business with this company, or work for them. They are bad people who do bad business.
