Fifth Third Bank MOney deposited isn't avaiable for almost 2 days! NO-ONE tells you this when you open accounts with them! SCAM overdrafts!

Was never told that money wasn't avaibale until almost 2 days after a deposit! Deposited a comapny check, thought it was available, went on a family trip that weekend, used our debit card 12 TIMES to come home and find out we have $400 in OVERDRAFT FEES! Spoke to 2 differnt managers, explained how upset we were that we were never notified of this and we could not afford all the over draft fees and that it was very clear it was an honest mistake! Who goes and uses their debit card 12 times if there is no money there?
We have been banking with them for about 6 months, have never had any previous over drafts and they were not willing to work with us what so ever! I just kept being told "well I've worked in the banking buisness for yrs and this is the way it is"
I could not believe the poor service we have recieved!
I don't understand how the charges were still in pre-auth. Statis (and some still are) but we still have to pay over draft fees for money that hasn't even been taken out of our account yet?
We were told eventhough they were still in pre - auth./pending statis to 5/3 they were instant transactions???
Mu husbands check finally became available today after being deposited 2 days prior... There are still 4 charges that the stores haven't even took out for yet, yet we are still paying for something that hasn't even gone through yet!
We got NO WHERE with 5/3 very dissapointed, feel SCAMMED and will be closing our accounts with them!
