My son was processing a credit card for a customer and hit an extra button by accident, overcharging the customer. He immediately called msi and the lady he talked to got all the information about the transaction and said it was taken care of.

3 days later i checked my bank balance and found that msi had gone ahead and put that extra money in my account, after telling my son that they had voided his mistake.

I immediately called the customer, my bank and msi. Their rep said write him a check but that didn't sound legal so we asked how to do it legally so that their and our paperwork would reflect the refund. The rep talked us through it.

I checked bank account and sure enough! It had worked this time. The money was sent back to customer.

Then i noticed that none of our credit card transactions were hitting my bank. Called bank, they didn't know why. Called msi and they told me they had frozen my money.

I asked can you see on your computer where you guys did this refund thing for us because we didn't know how?

Yes, she saw it.

After talking to a number of people who got increasingly more uncomfortable sounding talking to me i was informed that my account was put into the risk dept. Because it looked odd to charge that much.

I said we didn't it was an accident. They said they understood. Still no money. References to credit card fraud and money laundering and terrorism were dropped.

Next they want me to go to the bank and have the bank fax them the info they already admitted having.

Problem is i have a foot injury and it hurts to walk. Why should i have to physically injure myself by going to the bank when it is their mistake and they already have proof of the transaction, in fact they talked us through it.

I don't think the bank will let me in barefoot and i can't get a shoe on this foot.

I don't like being treated like a criminal when i did the right thing.

And the guy that sold us the original machine and this whole mess wasn't honest and put us down for $25 a day maximum charges and so that makes us look like crooks. He promised lots of things and now we can't even find him at all.

Any class action minded lawyers out there?
