Beaman Chrysler, Repair Estimate Ripoff

Took my 2006 Grand Caravan to have a diagnostic done to see what is wrong with it since the check engine light stays on a lot even though it goes out at times. Also the car wouldn't pass inspection. Besides that the car runs fine.

I was told the following:
- EGR Valve
- Water Pump Leaking
- Power Steering Rack Leaking
- Spark Plugs Wires Throttle Body and Injector Service and Transmission

Was quoted over $3,000 to make this repairs.

Something did not seem right here so decided not to repair the car and also since don't have that kind of money to spend.

Contacted a mechanic at an auto repair shop that someone I know recommended and after talking to this mechanic was told that there is also wrong with all that since first if the car was leaking from the water pump and power steering will have a liquid podle under the car each time park somewhere.
