Last October my home phone was contacted. The person they asked for is recently deceased, and I was told he had won money. Because he entered sweepstakes and lotteries, I thought it might be true. They proceeded to ask for money to be sent and for more money to be sent. I sent some. The names changed and later someone told me he was the true person, and that the others were scams. This person has continued to call daily for months, and his voice did sound real. He is still calling me,
but not that I do not need to send money, they will come and present me with a check from UPS, but that costs another $2,000. This person also knows that I am really broke, and have no money. It is alarming that they have no conscience and are praying on retirees. I would liek some help finding who these people are and will cooperate with any service that thinks they can be found. I know voices well, and would recognize them. I have names of people in Jamaica.
This experience has devastated me, caused me to loose work and sleep, and money, and been horrible. I feel violated, stupid, and very upset. I will do anything to help stop this in our country.
