My story:
Ms. Kivah Harris signed me with her agency in August. I paid $175 up front which I was told was going to to toward my portfolio/compcards/business cards etc. After several "paid gigs" fell through, including a trip to Aspen, I started looking around for the contact info for the corporate offices we were told were located around the country. The only addresses or phone numbers I found either didn't exist or went straight to the office located in Tempe. I started asking questions and when I did I was told that I was being let out of my contract. I asked for my money back and was told that my portfolio had already been mailed out. This was about 4 months ago. I emailed Ms. Harris last week demanding my money back or I would be taking her to small claims court. Her response was to first try to accuse me of slander/defamation of character (see below) and then said "I will see you in court.
