Fire Magic Grills Fire Magic Stainless Steel Grill Rusting

I purchased an electric stainless steel Fire Magic grill from the Living Improvements internet store. The grill is manufactured by R.H. Petersen Co.in CA. The grill started to rust immediately after unpacking it. The grill is on a totally covered outdoor terrace. Surface rust developed all over the grill totally ruining the appearance of the grill. This grill sells for $1200 and I thought I was purchasing a top of the line stainless grill. It turns out that R.H. Petersen is not actually manufacturing this grill and it is made in Taiwan with a low grade stainless steel. They also do not publish whether it is a quality 304 stainless and claim rust is not covered under their warranty. The grill arrives packaged from Taiwan so BUYER BEWARE. After contacting R.H. Petersen they admitted they are aware of the rusting problem and "have seen it before" yet were unwilling to replace or take the grill back. Living Improvements took no responsibility for the problem and relied on R.H. Petersen. This company is charging high prices comparable to high grade stainless but supplying junk to the marketplace. I will supply pictures of this to anyone that asks.
