This Company is a Scam

We contracted Gold Crown Property Management of Dunedin, FL in August to sell a timeshare property. GC guaranteed that we would receive 3 legitamate offers on the property within 6 months or we would receive our money ($600) back.

Gold Crown never contacted me with any names, phone numbers or addresses of any prospective buyers. Their contract specifically states " GCPM forwards all inquires about resorts directly to the owner and allows the owner to negotiate the sale or rental of the owners timeshare without involvement of a broker and without commisions".

GCP management claims that 3 offers were made on the property but will not provide us with any names or phone numbers of the prospective buyers. Since their contact number is a cell phone number it is easy to prove that they never contacted me.

Complaints were filed with the Florida Consumer Protection Agency and the West Florida Better Business Bureau. GC refused to respond to the complaints. Numerous complaints have been filed against this comppany on the Florida Better Business Bureau website. They will not respond to phone calls or e-mails. Avoid any dealings with this company! I would be interested in a class action suit if others are interested and have been riped off by this company. E-mail
