Commercial Training Institute recently held a training seminar for commercial short sales in Los Angeles the weekend of 1/15/10. You were led to believe that if you paid a fee of $997 to attend the seminar you would be able to partner with them on short sale deals, they would provide you with a proof of funds letter, etc.in the afternoon of the second day they get around to telling you that you will have to pay a "membership" fee of $15,000 to $25,000 to partner with them.in other words, they are running a classic bait and switch campaign. They have a customer service number of 866 542-1215 that is a recording. Messages go unanswered. They currently have an "F" rating with the better business bureau. They plan to hold another seminar in March even as they were telling the January group how exclusive this was. Based on my own personal experience, the lack of any response to calls or email, and their horrific BBB rating I would caution anyone about doing business with this group.
