Jake Wand told me he was a respected vintage guitar dealer. He dropped names of famous people and convinced me to take several of my best vintage guitars on consignment. He also showed me pictures of several rare guitars he said that he owned and would sell to me. I gave him $10,000 down on a Les Paul Gold Top. He made off with two guitars worth in excess of $40,000 and $10,000 in cash. Then he vanished. Doesnt return calls or emails and I cant find him. The authorities say this isnt the first time he has done this to people. Beware of Jake Wand
