I had a tie rod replaced at a repair shop. Before the repair which was done on 11-24-09. I had the repair shop call to verify repairer's were covered. Heritage stated that I was not in the system. This was the first claim I have ever turn in. I had the policy since 10-24-07. I got stuck paying the bill of $195.99
Heritage stated I had to fax them a copy of my policy, which I did on 10-25-09. I had to call several times to fine out what was going on. Finally they told me that they excepted the claim, but would not pay for the alignment. You can not replace a tie rod without doing alignment and as stated on page 8 replacement is covered due to covered failures.
I have called several times and they keep telling me that the check is in the system. I Called last week and left a massage to a supervisor to call me back. I have yet to get a call.
I had to make my payments on time and think wait over 11 weeks is long enough!!!
