Kramer and Associates / Gave no service months after taking a fifteen hundred dollar retaine

I retained Mr. Deichler to handle a divorce for me. Although I realize it was through the holidays, nothing was accomplished by his law firm for months. I did not want to pester him and so let much time go by before finally inquiring by email occasionally. His answer was always some excuse and that the paperwork was done and ready for me to sign, yet there was no mention of a time to come in to sign. I retained him in mid november and finally heard from him in January after twelve days of nothing.By that time I had retained another attorney. I realize that the retainer is supposed to be non refundable but i question whether it is right for these people to take money and do nothing. It seems to me that they could earn a pretty lucrative living by scamming people this way and i think something should be done about it.
