JERRY, TONY, GEORGE never finished my repairs and ran off with my money

I called united roofing and construction/roofing on 9-16-09 to replace a few warped shingles on my roof. I spoke to jerry and he scheduled an appoinment for the next day to fix the problem.

I was told that the shinges didnt need to be replaced, but only re glued down with an adhesive he has, i agreed to let the do the work and the job was finished in a few hours. When i went out to look at the job i saw that it was alot of black looking adhesive around the area where the shingles they repaired were. I was told by jerry to give it about 3 days to dry in the sun and the color of the shingles would come back, if not. Call him

I called jerry after looking at my roof about 7 days later and it looked exactly the same and he agreed to come replace the shingles, since i aready paid for a 3 year warranty. After about a month of excuses he finally came out to remove a sample shingle to match up the color and get the replacement case of shingles. That was the last ive ever seen of jerry or this company. Everytime i called i would get a lie or an excuse or someone else would answer his cell phone and say he isnt around when i specifically heard his voice in the background talking.

Bottom line, this is a very deceptive company. Avoid them at all costs, or if you deal with them pay with a credit card so you can have them reverse the charges after they botch your job and never come fix it. Jerry also loves to make promises of giving you your money back which is also a lie because you will never see him again as he loves to hide

They allso have suppposedly 3 locations: one in addison il, cicero il, and another in chicago. I aslo reported them to the better business bureau and got another call after he got the letter from them promising to come complete the job, but still nothing of course.

The quickest thing this company does is cash checks, which he literally cashed mine about 5 min after leaving my home.
