Scam company keeps on trying to scam

This "company: is a total scam. They sent me a letter saying I owed B of A over $9000. First off, all I ever had with b of a was a checking account. 2nd, I closed the account over 8 years ago, which brings me to my next point... The SOL is up.
Besides the fact the SOL is up, this company could not verify the debt with me. When I called, I spoke to 3 different reps who all yelled at me no matter how nice I spoke to them.
I could not get the debt verified so I have no idea what they are trying to get money from me for. Also, they could not tell me if they were licensed in California. They just kept yelling "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" as if that is a hard question to answer.
An "employee" from this company "nathan" said companies come to them to collect for them. Thats total bs because it says right there on the bunk letter they send out that they "PURCHASED the previous creditor" yet they dont name the creditor or their information so you can dispute it with them if you need to.
This company is known for making false collection debts and preying on older people and immigrants. They have also been sued numerous times by different Attorney Generals across the country.
Please do your research on this company BEFORE you contact them and then ask yourself a) do I really have a valid debt b) what are the Statute of limitations in my state c) are the SOL's up d) can I settle the debt with the company instead of these collectors e) who owns this debt collection company f) are they following the law

Know the law and dont be taken by these scam artists.
