What Membership Fee?

I saw a featured television ad for Celebrity White Teeth for a free trial offer. I went online, thoroughly reviewed the website, and decided to purchase the free trial offer. I received an email purchase confirmation, that same day. The email outlined the savings of "membership", the 14 day trial program, the monthly cost, and customer service information. I went online 7 days later to see the status of my order, and discovered there was a one-time membership fee of $149.95. This was the first time I saw anything in regard to a membership fee. I was irate. I called the customer service line immediately and explained how angry I was in regard to this $149.95 membership fee. I told them I expected that fee be removed from my credit card immediately, to send me my free trial, and to cancel my "membership". I did receive an email to confirm, but I will wait and see what my credit card statement reveals.
This is what I hate about these featured TV ads - they are very deceptive. The ad, the website, nor the confirmation email, stated nothing about a $149.95 membership fee. They should be required to disclose all costs asssociated with their product (s).
