Warning to all consumers!

My husband and I were setup to buy a short sale home with real estate agent Ed Fisher just a few weeks ago. This guy did an illegal deal with the 2 banks on the side for $20,000 to make the short sale go through. He lied to us and said that we needed to cut a check for $20,000 in addition to our down payment secretly to the second bank so that they would be satisfied. He said that they would not cash it and that once the deal was closed we could cancel the check and it wouldn't matter! So we trusted him and gave him $20,000 more of our hard earned money. Not only did the bank cash it we did not get the house and now we cannot get our money back from this guy. He won't return our calls and when we called his office they told us he cannot be reached.

Just last week we spoke to other agents and lawyers and they told us that what Ed Fisher did was illegal and fraudulent. He is now being investigated by CAR and our lawyers. But we have to pay our lawyers to find out what happened and retrive our $20,000!

This is to let everyone know of this guys scams and illegal real estate activity so they don't get hurt like us. Ed Fisher lives in Danville CA and this is a warning to everyone about this real estate agent.
