=Toysport and I set up a price (general) of 7000.00 topet a3sget engine in my 1989 MR2, he had built the engine we were taking out (4agez) and I was happy with the job thought he kept my car for 1 year! Anyway he started doing the work and kept adding this and that to the price. It became clear I was going to be looking at about 12,000.00. Long story short and 25,000 $ later (Did mention this time it took 2 years to get the job done) I got the car back. The valves had problems and the head had to be pulled off twice, the wireing was hanging lose etc. The engine he built was using a quart of oil every 150 miles. Mr. Luz said this is normal when you have forged pistons in the car. At this point I stopped being polite and he said he would rebuild the engine he just built 4000 miles ago for an extra 4000$ (so now Im at 29,000) In the end we had words and I towed the car out of him shop, found some honest people to clean up his mess that ran me a couple grand more. Oh did I mention He kept the engine, ecu, transmission, header that he removed from my car? He said it was a donation to his MR2! I think thats illegal and small cliams court here I come!
