Unjustly suing me

I had a car repossesed in 2006 due to a divorce causing financial strain. The finance company got the car and I had heard nothing about it for 4 years. I received a summons/petition delivered by a court processor. The summons states the car was sold and I owe twice as much as was owed on the car, $2300 in attorneys fees and 17% interest. I was never notified that the car was going to be sold, where the auction was held, and what I owed on it. I now have 3 different creditors on my credit report showing 3 different amounts with different years. I called the agencies and they all stated it was for the car repossesion. This is Outrageous!
