In I was called and asked to travel 4 1/2 hrs away from my home to do a subcontracting electrical job for Russ Lowry. He said he was having trouble getting an electrician to get his permits needed to do a job there in Dallas, TX for the Village Tea Co. On Preston Road. I told him it would be cheaper to find one there because I would have to travel and there would be large expenses just for my up keep for me and my crew to do this job. I was very leary to begin with because Dallas is a big metroplex full of electricians and couldn't understand why he couldn't find one there but he was persistant and begged me to come so I finally did. We had discussed up front all expenses that would be needed to be paid and he had agreed. I ended up not getting paid for any expenses and salary for me and my crew which averaged over $12,000.00 for salary alone. While there he was suppose to put me and my crew in a motel room. He ended up sending us to his mothers home where she told me her son was a common crook and liar also. She said he kept telling lies to people that he would pay for things and wouldn't. Not to mention she said he would send strangers to her house at all different times of the day and night and she was not a willing participant in having the put people up constantly to stay in her home because he would pocket money given to him by investors for these bill owed and not give it to who it was owed. She was a very nice lady and I felt bad that I too had been sent to her home without her willingness in the situation. I thanked her for her time and courtesy and demanded him put us up in a motel room as promised. I ended going to a motel out of courtesy and being uncomfortable with the situation in the first place, never being reimbursed for this expense as well. I grew increasingly leary of him. We ended up paying for materials to do this job and found out that Russ Lowry was already buying materials with investors credit cards and then witnessing him returning the items back to the stores for cash to keep for himself. He never paid any of my crew or me for the time, energy, and effort put into doing this job. We couldn't even get him to return our phone calls while there and if he did answer which was rare he would make arrangements to meet us to pay us and then leave us waiting somewhere for hours literally and never show up. He eluded us in every way except to get what he wanted. We spent more time just chasing our paycheck than anything else and let me tell you he already owed us over $12,000.00 in salaries. We fianlly had enough of investing our own money in a job that we could see wasn't going to pay off and went to gather our tools at the job site that was locked up in a private building. Only Russ Lowry had a key to this building. Upon going there to gather up our tools and go back home we found that all of our tools had been stolen. There was no sign of forced entry. He did not want to file a police report and told us he would reimburse us for the tools of over $10,000.00 that were stolen that very day. We were very upset cause there were some that had sentimental value that were given by a loved one that has passed and the kinds that cannot even be replaced because they were rare and impossible to get again. We waited all day long for him to meet us and at least give him a chance to replace them with new ones and he never showed up. We waited in Dallas for 3 more days trying to give him another chance to do this and he wouldn't answer his phone. Probalbly being to busy going from pawn shop to pawn shop selling our tools I assume. Russ Lowry is nothing more than a piece of crap and a no better than a common thief and liar! I don't know how he isn't in jail for the things he does but I think it is because noone can locate him and he eludes the police, creditor, and anyone he rips off. I hear she is a low as him and has even done porn films for a living. I feel so sorry for their daughter when she grows up and finds out what kind of parents she has. Russ Lowry says he has had the same email address and phone numbers for a long time and can be found but the truth of the matter is that he doesn't want to be found at all and eludes all that he owes and have wronged. If you ever come into contact with Russ Lowry or his wife I would run not walk away run but if you aren't quick enough you might realize you are running barefoot cause he has already stolen the shoes you have on to run away with. So beware world he is a conartist and not even a good one! I hope someone will read this and the many reports just like mine on the internet before doing any work and and dealing with this crook!
