Notice to all customers who shopped at fry's on Sunday January 24th, you may be at risk for food bourne illness. On this day the fry's Marketplace at this address had no running water, yet they operated deli and meat departments without the correct facilities to wash their hands. According to the manager Kroger food safety approved jugs of water and hand sanitizer as a hand washing method. According to the FDA hand sanitizer is not a legal substitute for food handling. FDA regulation states a minimum of 20 second under warm to hot running water. According to employee's water was out in the entire store for the majority of the day. If you bought food before 4pm there is a very good chance you will get ill. Legally per environmental services the deli and meat facilities should have been closed, yet they put profits over your safety. Please return any deli or meat items purchased, deli meats especially as they are cooked by the consumer, an employee could have put the raw chicken in their oven then sliced your deli meat without properly washing hands. They got lucky because the health department is closed on Sunday's, please do not feed your children any food purchased this day.
