Overcharging ripoff. I tried to cancel the subscription since it was "money back guarantee" and they told me that they couldn't do it

I was contacted by phone by this company in November. At that time they told me I would be billed $12.95 per month for the subscription. Well they started to take out double the amount that they told me. I called them to cancel the subscription since it was "money back guarantee" and they told me that they couldn't do it.

I put a stop payment on my Discover and then they sent me to collections.instead of this being on my credit report I eventually paid the amount due in full and called them to get my magazines. Today I talked to "Kim" who is apparently their collections person and she treated me like CRAP. She went on to say that nobody there would never not take a cancellation and that I shouldn't have been deliquent on my account or have given them my Discover #.

This has been absolutely ridiculous and will do my best to recover my costs one way or another. This company needs to be shut down and/or be prosecuted for wrongful promises.
