Rip off of unexisting account

They said I owed a past due from 1 year ago of $491.76 and willing to settle my account for $295.07 but I had to make the payments immediately. When I called back I could barely understand what the representative was saying. He sounded like he was on a cell phone in the middle of India. I faxed to the number they told me 212-330-9668 and then I called them and they replied that it will take 9 months to send me the underlying invoice. If this is a real debt it shouldn't be taking more than 30 days. This company does not sound reputable and I found more than 100 usacomplaints.com!!!
