Loan Market
Terry Christo Ripped Off By Loan Market Brisbane

Miscellaneous

This report is in regards to loan market and their refusal to provide me with the 1 year fixed intrest rate which was clearly stated in the mortgage contract i signed, with 3 consecutive intrest rate rises i contacted terry christo from loan market to change my current variable rate he then advised me the 1 year term was no longer available despite the fact they were still advertising new loans on the 1 year fixed term, they told me that my only option was to lock my loan in at a higher rate for 3 to 5 years at a rate much higher than other lenders. This is totaly unacceptable as such i demanded the 1 year term that was in my mortgage contract but to no avail they then quoted their legal rights to withdraw the fixed term at their discretion, it dosn't sound very legal to me when they are still offering the 1 year term to new customers and wont provide it to existing customers who signed mortgage contracts with an option to switch to the 1 year term sounds very much like a scam to me terry.
