CCC ripoff while with them they paid my bills late then turned my account over to collections

When I started the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Atlanta, Ga I was told that they as well as any of the other agencies that claim to help you with your credit, would help me improve my credit rating. I started with them in Nov of 02. They took my money on the 3rd of the month, every month but didn't pay my creditors until the 17th or later of the month which made 2 of my accounts late every month.

Only after I received a letter from one of my creditors stating that my account was turned over to a collection agency that I found out that my payments were late. The late payment plus collections is still on my credit report with all three agencies.ccCSATL states that they are not responcible. I no longer use them and I advice everyone to beware of all CCCS everywhere. They do not help your credit, they can and do damage it.

It shows up like a bankruptcy on your credit report.
